Privacy Policy

Overview

SharpVitals is designed with your privacy as a top priority. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal or health data. All information stays on your device and in Apple Health.

Data We Collect

SharpVitals does not collect any data. We do not operate servers or cloud services, and no information is ever transmitted from your device to us.

The app requests access to the following health data types stored in Apple Health on your device:

• Heart rate
• Blood pressure (systolic and diastolic)
• Blood glucose
• Oxygen saturation
• Body mass (weight)

This data is read from and written to Apple Health only.

How We Use Your Data

Health data accessed by SharpVitals is used solely to:

• Display your health readings within the app
• Save new readings you enter to Apple Health
• Generate shareable summary images when you choose to share

We do not use your data for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. SharpVitals does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or SDKs that collect user data. The only way your health information can be shared is if you explicitly use the Share feature to send a summary image to someone of your choosing.

Data Storage and Security

All health data is stored in Apple Health on your device. Your data benefits from Apple's security protections, including:

• On-device encryption
• Secure Enclave protection
• End-to-end encryption for iCloud Health data sync

SharpVitals does not store any health data outside of Apple Health.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored in Apple Health, you have full control over your data retention. To delete your health data:

• Open Apple Health on your device
• Navigate to Browse, then select the health category
• Tap "Show All Data" to view and delete individual entries

Uninstalling SharpVitals does not delete your health data from Apple Health. Your data remains available to you and any other apps you have authorized.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your health data:

• Access: View all your data in Apple Health at any time
• Portability: Export your data from Apple Health
• Deletion: Delete any or all data through Apple Health
• Revoke access: Revoke SharpVitals' access in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health

Tracking and Advertising

SharpVitals does not track you. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, device identifiers, or any other tracking technologies. We do not display advertisements or share data with advertisers.

Photos Access

If you choose to save a daily summary image to your Photos, SharpVitals requests permission to add images to your photo library. We do not access or read any existing photos.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
